For the second consecutive day the number of Covid-19 hospitalized in the Trentino Hospitals, which today number 447 (11 less than yesterday and 32 less than the day before yesterday). Unfortunately, the number of deaths is always high: 11 people, all elderly (average age 83 years).
The data is contained in today’s bulletin from the Provincial Health Services Agency, which also reports the number of new positives and the number of swabs analyzed. Governor Maurizio Fugatti confirmed that the Trentino remains in the yellow zone
There are 222 cases proven by molecular swabbing. These are accompanied by positivity intercepted by rapid tests (269). In detail, among the newly infected, the majority are followed at home; is about 165 asymptomatic and 279 paucisymptomatic.
Among the guests and operators there are 20 cases that come from various RSAs. Among other things, there are always many people over 70 who get the infection.: Today the report indicates another 98.
There are 4 children under the age of 5, while there are 35 new cases among school-age children (yesterday the quarantined classes had dropped even more, reaching 12). Returning to the hospital situation, even yesterday the discharges were more numerous than the new admissions: 39 the first, 36 the new admissions.
Consequently, 447 Covid patients are hospitalized, 44 of which were in intensive care (47 were yesterday) Unfortunately, 8 of the 11 new deaths are registered in hospitals: these are 4 women and 7 men; the youngest victim was 70 years old. Those cured increased by another 204, bringing the total to 14,901.
There are 3,460 finally the molecular swabs analyzed, of which 2,262 in the Microbiology laboratory of the Santa Chiara de Trento hospital and another 1,198 by Fem. The company also administered 1,793 rapid antigenic swabs.
In the last 24 hours in Italy, 19,903 were recorded new cases of coronavirus in 196,439 swabs performed, bringing the total of positives since the beginning of the emergency to 1,825,775.
The deaths were 649, cwith the total number of victims in the country amounting to 64,036. There are 3,199 hospitalized in intensive care (-66 compared to yesterday). The region with the highest daily increase in new cases is Veneto (5,098)
