What can be done in the yellow areas

• Bars and restaurants can be open from 5:00 to 18:00; Table consumption is allowed for a maximum of four people per table, unless they all live together. After 6:00 p.m. it is forbidden to consume food and beverages in public places and open to the public, but catering with home delivery is allowed and catering with takeaway food is allowed until 10:00 p.m., with prohibition of consumption in the place.
• Museums, exhibitions, theaters, swimming pools, gyms, cinemas remain closed and the activities of betting halls, games rooms, bingo and slot machines are also suspended in bars and tobacconists. The sports centers remain open.
• The maximum capacity of public transport is reduced to 50 percent, with the exception of school transport.
What to do in the orange areas

• Bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors and pastry shops are closed to the public, who can only carry out take-away food service until 10 pm and at home. Instead, they can reopen all business activities.
The rules for the holidays
In addition to the rules for individual areas, established by the DPCM (decree of the President of the Council of Ministers) of November 3 and then confirmed until January 15, as of December 4, other rules valid for holidays and until January 6. 2021 throughout the national territory: they can be read more extensively here.
In particular, the curfew will remain in force across the country from 10 to 5 in the morning, but for New Year’s Eve it will be extended from 10 to 7 in the morning. The shops will be open until 21 but, until January 15, on holidays and the eve of holidays in shopping centers, only groceries, pharmacies, parapharmacies, health, tobacco shops, kiosks and nurseries will be open.
