There are 1,332 new cases of Covid in Puglia: it is the result of the 11,168 swabs made at the regional level, reported in the December 10 bulletin. In the Bari area there are 266 infections, 130 in the province of Brindisi, 289 in the province of BAT, 314 in the province of Foggia, 165 in the province of Lecce, 157 in the province of Taranto, 7 residents outside the region and 4 cases of province of unknown residence.
Up to 15 deaths recorded in the Bari area, out of a total of 55 (for the other provinces: 1 in the province of BAT, 27 in the province of Foggia, 3 in the province of Lecce, 7 in the province of Taranto, 2 residents outside the region). The cured patients amounted to 17,870 (17,325 yesterday) and 48,802 currently positive cases (48,070 in the last bulletin); while hospitalizations are falling (today they are 1800, against 1838 yesterday).
The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 68,506, divided as follows:
26,250 in the province of Bari;
7,779 in the province of Bat;
5,056 in the province of Brindisi;
15,509 in the province of Foggia;
5,318 in the province of Lecce;
8,133 in the province of Taranto;
428 attributed to residents outside the region;
33 province of unknown residence.
Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, in order to trace close contacts.
Lopalco: “The deaths do not reflect today’s trend”
The Councilor for Health Policies, Pier Luigi Lopalco, spoke about the high number of deaths registered today. “They do not reflect the daily trend that sees a weekly peak of 36 deaths,” he recalls, on December 4. In fact, we must remember that the daily bulletin only reports what was entered into the system that day and not the date of the event ”.
