The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion Department, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Puglia, 11,168 tests have been registered and recorded for infection by Covid-19 coronavirus. 1,332 positive cases: 266 in the province of Bari, 130 in the province of Brindisi, 289 in the province of BAT, 314 in the province of Foggia, 165 in the province of Lecce, 157 in the province of Taranto, 7 residents outside of the region, 4 cases in the province of unknown residence.
55 deaths were recorded: 15 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of BAT, 27 in the province of Foggia, 3 in the province of Lecce, 7 in the province of Taranto, 2 residents outside the region.
867,066 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency.
17,870 patients were recovered.
48,802 are currently positive cases.
The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 68,506, divided as follows:
26,250 in the province of Bari;
7,779 in the province of Bat;
5,056 in the province of Brindisi;
15,509 in the province of Foggia;
5,318 in the province of Lecce;
8,133 in the province of Taranto;
428 attributed to residents outside the region;
33 province of unknown residence.
Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, in order to trace close contacts.

Pier Luigi Lopalco: “The deaths reported in today’s bulletin do not reflect the daily trend that sees a weekly peak of 36 deaths (see attached graph) last December 4. In fact, keep in mind that the daily bulletin only reports what was entered into the system that day and not the date of the event. “
