The trial that saw a 40-year-old bellariese, defended by the lawyer Vincenzo Gallo, accused of homicide on the road for having beaten a 3-year-old boy, concluded with the acquittal. A process that, at the same time, saw the father of the little victim condemned for not supervising a minor. The drama took place on January 4, 2019 in San Mauro, along via Cagnona, about a kilometer from the Commercial Valley of Romagna. According to what had come out at that time, around 6 o’clock in the afternoon the Audi A2 in which a father and son of Senegalese origin were traveling was stopped on the side of the road with the adult who had left the cabin. Suddenly, the boy, Kadim Ndaye, who would have turned 4 only a few days later, got out of the car, probably unbuckling the strap that kept him tied to the seat alone.
Finished in the middle of the road, the little one had been dodged by a first vehicle that was on the way but the second, a Fiat Punto that was advancing towards the sea and driven by the 40-year-old beauty, had hit him squarely and after the impact the little car was flew into the ditch that runs along the driveway. In the confrontation, Kadim had suffered terrible injuries and, in the act, the 118 media with the health workers had rushed to the rescue who had revived the boy for the first time and then tried a desperate race towards the “Bufalini” of Cesena but everything had been useless with a child who had died in transit. In the sentence, the judge established, for the driver, that the act does not constitute a crime, considering the crime of lack of vigilance by a minor against the father of the victim.
