The mayor: ‘Critical situation: helicopters are on their way to land at Gaggio’s sports field. 40 families affected

‘The situation is particularly critical: a leak has been created on the right bank of the Panaro towards Nonantola: the area between via Tronco and via Bonvino has been flooded. 40 families are affected and in some cases the filtered water exceeded one meter in height: there were firefighters, 118 and volunteers. Four civil defense, fire and marine helicopters are arriving and will land at Gaggio’s sports field. Thus the mayor of Castelfranco Gianni gargano takes stock of the situation in Castelfranco by phone after the breakdown of the Panaro embankment (here the article).
Three reception areas have been set up in Castelfranco for Covid negatives in the sports hall, the isolated gym of the Guinizzelli school and the gym via Andrea Costa to receive Covid patients. 60 tent beds and blankets are already being prepared on site.

For years Lapressa.it has offered free and independent information to its readers without any public contribution. Private advertising covers part of the costs, but it is not enough. That is why we ask those who read us every day, and follow us, to give us, if they believe, a contribution based on their possibilities. Even a little support, multiplied by the tens of thousands of Modenese and Emilia-Romagna who read to us every day, is essential.
