The ordinance of the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza returns Tuscany to the orange zone as of Sunday, December 6, 2020. Here is what changes in our region, also in light of the approval by the government of the Dpcm for the Christmas holidays.
As indicated in article 1 of the new Dpcm, the fundamental rules do not change:
- It remains the obligation to carry and use personal protective equipment (masks) and to “wear them indoors other than private homes and in all outdoor places except in cases where, due to the characteristics of the places or due to factual circumstances , the condition of isolation of people who do not live together is continuously guaranteed, and in any case without prejudice to the anti-contagion protocols and guidelines provided for economic, productive, administrative and social activities, as well as guidelines for the consumption of food and beverages “;
- Those under six years of age, those who practice sports and those with pathologies incompatible with use are excluded from this obligation;
- The use of masks in the home is “strongly recommended” when people who do not live together are staying.
It is also necessary to maintain the interpersonal distance of one meter and it is recommended to wash your hands as often as possible. Regarding travel:
- from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, as well as from 10 p.m. on December 31, 2020 to 7 a.m. on January 1, 2021, only trips motivated by proven work needs, by situations of need or by health reasons;
- From December 21, 2020 to January 6, 2021, any movement in and out between the territories of different regions or autonomous provinces is prohibited within the national territory, and on December 25 and 26, 2020 and January 1 2021, any movement between municipalities is also prohibited, except trips motivated by proven work needs or situations of need or for health reasons;
- In any case, the return to one’s own residence, domicile or domicile is allowed, excluding trips to second residences located in another Region or Autonomous Province and, on December 25 and 26, 2020 and January 1, 2021, also located in another Municipality. .
With the government’s Faq, however, it is likely that a number of doubts about travel will be clarified – for example, it will be reiterated that it will be possible to reach an elderly person alone or not self-sufficient even on Christmas Day and it will be possible to rediscover couples live far away – but the Palazzo Chigi line will not change. In the second residence, it will always be allowed to go for reasons of necessity and urgency (for example, due to non-delegable work). On Tuesday at eight thirty at night, the Undersecretary of Health Sandra Zampa explained that she will be allowed to move to another region to reach an elderly father if the region is yellow: “From the 20th there will be a ban, perhaps a single father that the child needs can be brought to the presence of the child, with a self-declaration indicating the reasons for the need “.
