Trieste, December 4 – Today 1,040 new infections were detected in Friuli Venezia Giulia (11.10 percent of the 9,370 swabs performed). In addition, 26 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, in addition to 10 other previous deaths entered today in the system related to the period 5-19 November.
This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic amounted to a total of 34,010, of which: 7,901 in Trieste, 14,812 in Udine, 6,652 in Pordenone and 4,230 in Gorizia, in addition to 415 people from outside of the region.
The current cases of infection are 15,606. 59 patients in intensive care remain stable and 632 are hospitalized in other departments. The total deaths amounted to 977, with the following territorial subdivision: 332 in Trieste, 389 in Udine, 202 in Pordenone and 54 in Gorizia.
The totally cured are 17,427, the clinically cured 433 and the isolated 14,482. ARC / GG / ep
