The province of Cuneo and the world of volunteering mourn an esteemed representative: Enrico Catelli lost his battle with Covid, passing away at the age of 69 on the night of today, December 2.
Member of the National Alpine Association, Knight of the Republic, he was deeply appreciated for his civil commitment in the Military Corps of the Italian Red Cross and as a volunteer of the CRI of Borgo San Dalmazzo.
The local Red Cross remembers him in these minutes with a heartfelt and moving post on Facebook: “Our dear friend Enrico Catelli has left us. Covid pneumonia took him this afternoon. HONOR to a great man, Knight of the Republic, who dedicated his life to work, family, volunteering and the Military Corps of the Italian Red Cross.“
Catelli recently participated in rescue operations during and after the early October flood in the Vermenagna Valley. “A serious loss”, as the Limone Piemonte Red Cross recalls:
