Covid Italia, 20,709 infections and 684 deaths

There are 20,709 coronavirus infections announced today in Italy according to data contained in the newsletter of the Ministry of Health. Since yesterday, another 684 deaths have been registered, bringing the total to 57,045 since the start of the emergency linked to the epidemic. Since yesterday, 207,143 have been executed. The patients admitted to intensive care are 3,616 (-47 since yesterday).

LOMBARDY – There are 3,425 coronavirus infections announced today in Lombardy according to data contained in the Ministry of Health bulletin. Since yesterday there have been another 175 deaths, bringing the total to 22,279 since the start of the emergency linked to the epidemic.

LAZIO – There are 1,791 new coronavirus infections in Lazio according to data released in today’s bulletin. Since yesterday there have been another 45 deaths. Today in Lazio “of more than 24,000 swabs (-2,095) there are 1791 positive cases (+122), 45 deaths (-24) and 780 cured. The ratio between positives and swabs is 7%.

EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 1,569 new coronavirus infections in Emilia-Romagna according to the data released in today’s newsletter. Since yesterday there have been another 69 deaths.

PIEDMONT – There are 1,568 new coronavirus infections in Piedmont according to data released in today’s bulletin. Today there were another 7 deaths. New infections amounted to 8.8% of the 17,897 swabs performed. Of the 1,568 new cases, 682 were asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 43.5%. The new cases are 418 detection cases, 772 case contacts, 378 with ongoing investigation, 331 in RSA and Social Welfare Structures, 68 in schools and 1,169 among the general population.

PUGLIA – There are 1,668 new coronavirus infections in Puglia according to the bulletin published today. Since yesterday there have been another 29 deaths.

CAMPANIA – In the last 24 hours, 1,842 new cases of coronavirus emerged in Campania from the analysis of 19,759 swabs according to today’s bulletin. The percentage of positive swabs out of the total number of swabs processed falls below 10% and equals 9.3%.

FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – According to the bulletin published today, there are 812 new coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Since yesterday there have been another 26 deaths. 7,820 swabs were made, 10.38 percent positive of those analyzed.

SARDINIA – There are 445 new coronavirus infections in Sardinia according to the data released in today’s newsletter. Since yesterday there have been another 4 deaths.

CALABRIA – There are 230 new coronavirus infections in Calabria according to data published today in the bulletin. Another 9 deaths were recorded in the region.
