Another 1659 positive cases of Covid in Puglia in the last 24 hours: this is what emerges from the data published in the usual regional bulletin, prepared by the Department of Health Promotion, which highlights a much lower percentage than yesterday among infected tampons and processed but, in any case, it is high, or 17%.

Total positives arose from 9,820 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection performed in the last 24 hours and divided as follows at the provincial level: 577 cases out of a total of 1,659 in the province of Bari, 96 in the province of Brindisi , 176 in the BAT province, 567 in the Foggia province, 78 in the Lecce province, 159 in the Taranto province, 5 residents outside the region, 1 case of province of unknown residence.
Regrettably, 34 deaths were recorded: 14 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of BAT, 7 in the province of Foggia, 5 in the province of Lecce, 6 in the province of Taranto.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 794,335 smears have been made. 14,696 patients are cured, or 631 more than yesterday’s data, while those currently positive amount to 39,766.
The total number of Covid cases in Puglia is 55,979, divided as follows: 21,416 in the province of Bari; 6,362 in the province of Bat; 3,915 in the province of Brindisi; 13,156 in the province of Foggia; 4,197 in the province of Lecce; 6,567 in the province of Taranto; 364 attributed to residents outside the region; 2 province of unknown residence.
The Asl Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
