Schools closed, the new Dpcm scheduled for the first days of December will produce important changes in terms of both the location of the Regions in red, orange and yellow zone, both with regard to reopening of the schools. Meanwhile, since Tomorrow, November 29, 2020, Piedmont, Lombardy and Calabria will go from the red zone to the orange zone while Liguria and Sicily will pass in the yellow zone. Schools closed, Regions in the red zone
In the red zone, there are 4 regions left (in addition to the autonomous province of Bolzano): es Aosta Valley, Abruzzo, Tuscany and Campania. As mentioned earlier, Lombardy, Piedmont and CalabriaFrom tomorrow, November 29, 2020, they will pass through the orange zone. Regarding the school, the Regions in the red zone foresee distance education for secondary schools and for the second and third grades of lower middle schools. Despite the upcoming transition from the red zone to the orange zone, the governor of the Piedmont, Alberto Cirio, has confirmed, at least for the moment, distance education for the second and third middle school, pending further improvements in the data related to the epidemiological curve, which are desirable in the coming days.
The President of the Region Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, signed ordinance No. 92 of November 23, which establishes that ‘as of November 25, 2020, the resumption of activities is allowed in the presence of educational services and daycare (integrated system of and education 0 -6 years) as well as teaching activities in the presence of the first class of primary schools. In the next few hours a decision is expected for the possible return to attendance, starting on Monday, November 30, for both second, third, fourth and fifth grade students and first grade students: everything will depend on the results of the screening carried out on school personnel and students. For the baccalaureate, however, the DAD will continue as foreseen by the Dpcm of November 3.
Orange zone
The Regions in the orange zone are Emilia Romagna, Marche, Umbria, Basilicata, Puglia and Friuli Venezia Giulia to which will be added, starting tomorrow, November 29, Calabria, Piedmont and Lombardy. Let’s see what are the particular provisions made by the Regions.
In Puglia, Governor Michele Emiliano signed an ordinance in force until December 3, 2020. The educational activity in presence or at a distance must be carried out in application of the Dpcm November 3, 2020. However, it is specified that ‘to allow the protection of public health Through digital education integrated into the first cycle of education, in order to reduce the risk of the spread of the epidemic, schools of the same first cycle of education must guarantee synchronous online connection for all students whose families expressly request that their children adopt integrated digital education, even in a mixed way, and also for limited periods coinciding with quarantines or fiduciary isolations, instead of face-to-face activities ”.
LAST Basilicata: Primary and lower secondary classes will be able to return to school as a result of a new ordinance, number 45, of November 27, 2020, which comes into effect as of today, November 28 (until December 3). Therefore, distance learning remains only in secondary schools.
In Umbria, Governor Donatella Tesei has signed a new Ordinance that provides for the return to school for high school students: the new provision will take effect from next Monday, November 30, and will be valid until December 6.
At Marchand, instead, the President of the Region, Francesco Acquaroli, has signed an Ordinance suspending indoor physical education classes in first cycle schools if it is not possible to respect the distance of two meters, singing classes and those of the wind instruments.
In Emilia romagna, Governor Stefano Bonaccini, has planned (until December 3) the return of physical education lessons to school, provided they are held outdoors. The suspension of singing and wind instrument classes is confirmed.
Yellow zone
In the yellow zone we find Sardinia, Lazio, Molise, Veneto and the autonomous province of Trento: Starting tomorrow, November 29, 2020, Liguria and Sicily will be added.

We remind you that in the Regions located in the yellow zone you can continue with the face-to-face teaching up to the third grade of first grade secondary school, while distance education is offered in second grade secondary schools.
