11.20 Hello and welcome to Sakhir, the third free practice session of the 2020 Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix will start in 40 minutes
Free practice report 2 – Free practice classification 2 – Presentation of titles – Today’s program
Hello friends of OA Sport and welcome to LIVE LIVE of the third free practice session and valid qualification for the Bahrain Grand Prix 2020, fifteenth and third to last round of the Formula One World Championship. High expectations in Sakhir to see the drivers on the grid working on the fastest lap fighting for pole position and snatching the best possible position on the starting grid for tomorrow’s race. Mercedes shows up with the losers to fill the entire front row, but Lewis Hamilton will have to be practically perfect to beat teammate Valtteri Bottas and Red Bull from a Max Verstappen in great shape.
The Dutchman showed good pace yesterday in both the race and the time trial, but the Black Arrows still seem to have plenty of room to unleash this afternoon in Q2 and Q3. So it will be a big battle as usual for fourth position, with several teams on paper close together that will first enter Q3 and then enter the first two or three rows of the grid by a few tenths. Racing Point is the main candidate for fourth place on the grid, especially with a Sergio Pérez in great shape returning from the splendid podium in Istanbul, while Ferrari paid the tariffs in free practice on Friday for too high a handicap in compared to the competition. in terms of top speed on the four long straights of the Bahrain International Circuit. The objective of the Maranello team will be to enter Q3 with both cars, but it will be almost impossible to try to get the second row.
Today’s program opens at 12 noon in Italy with the green light of the third free practice session, while qualifying will begin in the afternoon at 3pm. OA Sport offers you LIVE LIVE full text of the event with constant updates in real time so as not to miss a moment of the fight for the fifteenth pole of the year: have fun!
