LECCO – “The orange zone is declared as of today (Friday, ed), tomorrow it will be published in the Official Gazette and for a purely technical-bureaucratic issue it will come into effect on Sunday”. Therefore, the stores will be able to reopen from Sunday, November 29..

This was announced by the president of the Lombardy Region. Attilio fontana late in the afternoon of today Friday, during a press conference after having anticipated it a few hours before through a tweet.

“This does not mean that it is possible to lower your guard because the virus is still there,” Fontana continued. If today we are in the orange zonehowever, it is thanks to the commitment of all Lombard citizens. Positive news, which we have yet to consolidate, but which comes after evaluating all the numbers that have been positive in recent days. We continue to maintain all the usual rules because it’s not everyone’s season for free and we still cannot behave as before ”.

Lombardy enters the orange zone, this is what has changed since November 29

Movements

  • In the orange zone it is forbidden to leave the municipality itself (except for reasons of work, education, health or necessity: this requires self-certification).
  • You can move freely within your municipality from 5 to 22 without self-certification. From 10 pm to 5 am the “curfew” takes place: you can leave home only for verified needs and by completing the self-certification.

Smart work

  • Remote work is recommended whenever possible.

Home invitations

  • It is strongly recommended not to invite people who do not live together into your home.

Stores reopen

  • The shops reopen: everything, without limitations (evidently respecting the interpersonal spacing of at least one meter, ensuring the staggering of the entrances and the frequent cleaning up of the premises and the exhibition spaces).
  • For the moment, the activity of the stores located in the shopping centers, with the exception of pharmacies and parapharmacies, health centers, food outlets, tobacconists and kiosks, continues to be stopped during holidays and prior to the holidays.

Schools, second and third grade classes reopen

  • Unless otherwise directed by the governors, in the orange areas, second and third grade students return to take lessons in class.
  • Nothing changes for secondary schools: distance learning remains active.
  • Nothing changes for universities: educational and curricular activities are not carried out in person, except those related to the first year of studies and laboratories.

Bars and restaurants

  • The rules for bars and restaurants do not change: take-out and home delivery are allowed, consumption is not allowed on the spot.

Sports, events and museums

  • Gyms, pools, spas and spas remain closed.
  • Contact sport is prohibited, but related training is allowed outdoors and individually. On the other hand, it is allowed to attend sports centers and public and private sports clubs of the Municipality itself or, in the absence of said structures, in neighboring Municipalities, to carry out basic outdoor sports activities, complying with the rules of social distancing and without creating meetings . It is forbidden to use the spaces used as changing rooms.
  • The museums remain closed.

Condominium Assemblies

  • Condo meetings can take place in presence when it is not possible to organize them remotely.
