The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, has signed a new ordinance that foresees the passage of Calabria from the red zone to the orange zone. The measure is based on the monitoring of the 21 indicators now known and It will be in force from Sunday, November 29 to December 3 (waiting for the new Prime Minister Conte’s Dpcm). So there is a relaxation of the restrictions but, mind you, it is not a “free all”. Let’s clarify and see what changes and what are the new rules to respect.
Movements
You can move freely within your municipality of residence from 5 to 22 without self-certification. On the other hand, it is forbidden to circulate between 10 at night and 5 in the morning (except for proven reasons of work, health or need). It is forbidden to leave the municipality itself and from your region, except for reasons of study, work, health or other urgent needs provided for by the regulations (self-certification is required).
Outdoor sports and activities
Also in the orange zone swimming pools, gyms, wellness centers and spas are closed and the suspension of competitions and sporting events also persists.
Physical activity can be carried out within your municipality and outdoors.
Measures for restoration
Remain suspension of the activities of catering services. The bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pubs and patisseries remain closed but they can continue to carry out the takeaway service until 10:00 pm, as happened in the red zone.
Estheticians, retail stores and shopping centers
In Calabria from November 29 you will be able to reopen all retail stores, even for unnecessary products. Likewise the shopping centers (but they will be closed on holidays and days before holidays). Tattoo artists and beauticians also leave (who in the red zone had cut themselves, unlike hairdressers). Bingo halls, slot halls and betting centers remain closed.
The schools
Unless other municipal ordinances are in force, Monday back to school And there is something new: second and third graders are also returning to class, for whom, in the red areas, distance education is currently provided.
High school will remain closed (with dad’s obligation).
Transportation of cinemas and theaters
No change affects public transport: capacity remains fixed at 50%. Cinemas, theaters and museums are closed.
