There are ten victims of the last 24 hours in Marche due to Covid-19. All had previous pathologies. Among them were also two citizens of Piceni, both hospitalized in the San Benedetto hospital: a 50-year-old man from Monteprandone and a 79-year-old man from Folignano.
A total of 85 deaths occurred in the Piceno area.

The Covid-19 hospitalized in the Marches are growing and today there is a jump that has not occurred since the beginning of November. Specifically, the number of people admitted to intensive care reaches 94, 5 more than yesterday: there has not been an increase of this type since last November 1 (from 42 to 50). Up to 12 more hospitalized in semi-intensive care, from 137 to 149: it is necessary to return to November 7 to register a more noticeable daily increase (from 130 to 145).
In general, the most serious patients are 243, 13 more than the previous sad “record”.
It is not better on the “non-intensive” front: they are 429, 9 more than yesterday, and the total reaches 672, 28 more than yesterday: here also an increase that needs to go back to November 9 to find a higher .

The Health Service of the Marche Region has reported that in the last 24 hours, 3763 swabs have been tested: 1721 on the new diagnostic path and 2042 on the healed path.
The positives are 448 in the new diagnostic route (124 in the province of Macerata, 107 in the province of Ancona, 81 in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, 48 in the province of Fermo, 63 in the province of Ascoli Piceno and 25 outside the region).
The number of new infections is decreasing but the percentage of positive swabs found is still high: yesterday it was 26.06% in new diagnoses.
These cases include symptomatic subjects (79 cases detected), household contacts (109 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (117 cases detected), contacts in the work environment (19 cases detected), contacts in living / social settings (5 cases detected), contacts in the healthcare field (5 cases detected), contacts with the involvement of students of all educational levels (9 cases detected), screening of healthcare channels (8 cases detected) and 2 returns from abroad. For another 95 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway.
