Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 696 new infections were detected – 10.07 percent of the 6,910 swabs performed – and 16 deaths from Covid-19. Of the new positivity, 55 refer to previous tests carried out in private laboratories from November 5 to 23. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The percentage of positives rises slightly compared to yesterday’s bulletin (When the infections were 554, 9.45 percent of the 5,864 tests). The number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic exceeds 700, namely 715: 286 in Trieste, 244 in Udine, 158 in Pordenone and 27 in Gorizia.
The current cases of infection are 13,813. 54 patients remain in intensive care treatment and the number of hospitalized in other departments rises to 588 (27 more than yesterday). The totally cured are 11,757, the clinically cured 277 and the isolated 12,894.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 26,285, of which: 6,470 in Trieste, 11,302 in Udine, 4,998 in Pordenone and 3,185 in Gorizia, plus 330 people from outside the region.
The victims I am a 101 year old woman from Trieste who died in RSA; a 98-year-old woman and an 87-year-old woman from San Giovanni al Natisone who died in a center for the elderly; a 98-year-old man from Trieste who died in RSA; a 97-year-old man and an 82-year-old man from Tarcento who died in a nursing home; a 96-year-old man from Udine who died in hospital; a 94-year-old woman from Nimis who died in a nursing home; a 90-year-old man from Trieste who died in a nursing home; an 83-year-old man from Codroipo who died in hospital; an 82-year-old man from Aquileia who died in hospital; a 79-year-old woman from Castions di Strada who died in hospital; a 78-year-old woman from Moggio Udinese who died in a nursing home; a 77-year-old man from Pavia di Udine who died in hospital; a 77-year-old woman from Villa Santina who died in the hospital and a 54-year-old woman from Trieste who died in hospital due to various concomitant pathologies.
Regarding the new positivity to the virus, in the sector of nursing homes 48 cases of people housed in regional structures were detected, while the health workers who were infected were in total 15.
In front of the Regional health system (Ssr) the positivity for Covid of two doctors, 16 nurses, an administrative and seven social workers to be registered with the health authority of the Friuli Centrale university; in the Friuli Occidentale health agency of two doctors, four nurses, a midwife and a health social worker; in the health company of the Giuliano Isontina University as a socio-sanitary and technical operator and in the Regional Health Coordinator (ARCS) as an administrative official. It should also be noted the positivity of the nurses and a health social worker at Cro in Aviano and a nurse and an administrative officer at Irccs Burlo Garofolo in Trieste.
Finally, the positivity to the virus of four people who returned from abroad (Dominican Republic, Canary Islands, Germany and United Kingdom) must be registered.
