Today, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, there are 2,070 more cases of people positive for coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 722 asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 35% of the total. So far, 153,375 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont, divided as follows by provinces: 13,115 Alessandria, 7,038 Asti, 5,332 Biella, 20,432 Cuneo, 11,615 Novara, 82,836 Turin, 5,697 Vercelli, 4,982 Verbano-Cusio- Ossola, as well as 883 residents outside the region but in charge of Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,445 are under development and territorial allocation.

Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers

Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care has increased (404 people in total, 5 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care is increasing (5,116 people in total, 4 more than yesterday). There are 71,555 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,446,757 (up 14,536 compared to yesterday), of which 761,929 were negative.

The deaths

There are 73 deaths of Covid-19 test positive people reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 7 occurred today (the updated cumulative data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and were only later determined as Covid deaths). The total is now 5,719 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 880 Alessandria, 335 Asti, 266 Biella, 615 Cuneo, 521 Novara, 2,588 Turin, 282 Vercelli, 176 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 56 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.

Today, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that a total of 70,581 cured patients (more than 1845 compared to yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 6,143, Asti 3,421, Biella 2,181, Cuneo 7,983, Novara 5,070 Turin 40,418, Vercelli 2,570, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 2,060, as well as 377 extraregions and 358 in the process of definition.
