Today, Monday, November 23, 2020, there are 1,730 more cases of people positive for coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 610 asymptomatic, equivalent to 35% of the total. The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 151,305, divided as follows by provinces: 13,030 Alessandria, 6,934 Asti, 5,286 Biella, 19,920 Cuneo, 11,508 Novara, 81,759 Turin, 5,643 Vercelli, 4,919 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 872 residents outside the region but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,434 are under development and territorial allocation.
Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers
Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care has increased (399 people in total, 1 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care has decreased (5,112 people in total, less than 20 compared to yesterday). There are 71,412 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,432,221 (+13,529 compared to yesterday), of which 755,717 were negative.
The deaths
There are 81 Covid-19 test positive deaths reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 10 occurred today (the updated cumulative data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and only subsequently determined as Covid deaths) The total is now 5,646 deaths that tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 862 Alessandria, 332 Asti, 266 Biella, 605 Cuneo, 516 Novara, 2,553 Turin, 282 Vercelli, 174 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 56 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.
Today, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that there are 68,736 cured patients (more than 1,738 compared to yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 6021, Asti 3,294, Biella 2,126, Cuneo 7,727, Novara 5,020 Turin 39,311, Vercelli 2,547, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 1,963, as well as 377 extra-regions and 350 in the process of definition.
