Angélica, Nurse: I was forced to work asymptomatic positive, now she is positive with symptoms all shift.
Angelica B *, nurse, talks about the consequences of a questionable business choice.
“Gentile AssoCareNews.it,
I am writing to inform you of the consequences of what I consider to be a questionable choice.
I work in the emergency room and on October 5th I tested positive for a control swab.
I had no symptoms, but the doctor at work told me to stay home.
10 days have passed and I tested positive on the swab again. After another 11, it had reached 3 weeks.
But still, the swab was positive. The occupational doctor told me to stay home again.
But after a few days here is the front rear end: I had to get back to work if the 28th was still positive. They told me over the phone and I refused except on a written order.
To which I arrived regularly on the 29th, after another positive swab.
I protested but in front of this email I couldn’t stop introducing myself, as confirmed by my doctor, the occupational doctor and the union.
I called everyone, believe me.
So I had to report to work.
On duty (I came back at night), there were 11 colleagues, 9 nurses (including me) and 2 obs.
During the free (one of the few not revoked), they call me and ask me if I’m okay because almost everyone had more or less mild symptoms.
The swab results showed that all, with symptoms or not, were positive.
All!
Obviously I responded to the coordinator without any kindness since the first positive was me and she knew it, like the whole system.
They put me at home and I spent the minimum of time necessary to be able to talk about it publicly.
I find him ungenerous to us workers facing the emergency on the front line.
Crazy things.
Angelica“.
