The coronavirus infection curve in Calabria is increasing, today 444 new positives are registered. Five victims, while 480 patients are hospitalized in hospitals: 433 in ordinary regimen and 47 in intensive care. The confirmed cases today are divided as follows: 149 in Reggio Calabria, 136 in Cosenza, 67 in Crotone, 59 in Catanzaro and 33 in Vibo Valentia.
In Calabria, to date, 335,526 subjects have been tested for a total of 342,983 swabs performed (further tests can be performed on the same subject). 13,896 people tested positive for coronavirus, 321,630 negative. These are the daily data related to the Covid-19 epidemic reported by the Department of Health Protection.
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:
– Cosenza: ACTIVE CASES 3,101 (117 in the AO Cosenza ward; 16 in the Rossano unit and 11 in the Cetraro hospital unit; 16 in intensive care, 2,941 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 828 (732 recovered, 96 deceased).
– Catanzaro: ACTIVE CASES 1,520 (76 in ward; 20 in intensive care; 1,424 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 595 (547 recovered, 48 deceased).
– Crotone: ACTIVE CASES 893 (53 in the room; 840 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 273 (267 recovered, 6 deaths).
– Vibo Valentia: ACTIVE CASES 666 (14 hospitalized, 652 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 161 (149 recovered, 12 deceased).
– Reggio Calabria: ACTIVE CASES 3,521 (120 in ward; 26 PO of Gioia Tauro; 11 in intensive care; 3,364 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 1,853 (1,794 recovered, 59 deceased).
– Another region or foreign country: ACTIVE CASES 357 (357 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 128 (127 recovered, 1 deceased).
The deceased person in the Cosenza intensive care unit who was a resident outside the region is also included. The patient discharged from Cosenza was included among those cured in the environment outside the region; the patient who died in Cosenza was included among those who died in the environment outside the region.
Since the last survey, a total of 73 people registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory. The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the contagion received after the communication of the data to Civil Protection.
