Viterbo – We receive and publish – Anna Iuzzarelli is dead. Mourning in the world of animal rights in Viterbo.
On your Facebook page there are many messages of love, esteem and gratitude. After all, Anna Iuzzarelli, “Annarella” as she was called by those who knew and frequented her, was a person who really loved herself. And not only because of her commitment and selflessness towards the animals that had materialized, since 2007, in her daily presence as a volunteer in the municipal kennel of Bagnaia (Viterbo), in the care of feline colonies, in the recovery of lost or injured animals. , but also for being sweet, good, generous.
Anna died on November 17 from the consequences of a heart attack that killed her at the age of 57. A news that caused bewilderment and pain in those who loved her, especially in those who supported her in the rescue work of the quadrupeds.
“The Asociation Animal friends She was born in 2007 and my mother asked Anna to be vice president – Paola Viglino, daughter of Elvia, a historical animal “passionflower” who died in February 2018, remembers with emotion – but she did not accept because she had young daughters to raise. Since then she has been doing regular volunteer work three times a week in the morning helping the operators, but then Anna’s work went much further because dogs are always in need, especially the elderly and the sick. That is why he went to the kennel every afternoon to give therapy to the dogs and take care of those most in need.
It was a firm point and a certainty, he had enormous generosity and passion for animals, always with modesty and never weighing anything. Annarella was just always there. It was obvious and appreciable how indispensable it was before, but now that it’s gone, we really realize how special it was. And it is not to commemorate her because she died young, but because she was truly a unique person and the awareness of how much she gave and how much she could give hurts you.
Esteem, affection and condolences expressed to the family also by Antonio Bullitta, veterinarian at the Bagnaia facility, because “Anna was always present in cases where animal therapies had to be performed on a daily basis” and Francesco Sterpa, president of Amici Animali: “Anna was the backbone of the kennel, irreplaceable. It is a great pain ”.
Nicola Pollastrelli, The animal welfare volunteer from Viterbo cannot hide the emotion when remembering it: “Not only was she a volunteer – she says with a broken voice – she was a friend of everyone, even those who spoke ill of her. I never heard a bad word from anyone come out of their mouth. And when you tried to open his eyes, he always had words of justification. It is a great loss, too great. For us, for his dogs to whom he dedicated himself body and soul. His commitment was also continuous for the cats, to recover the stray animals that he brought home. It’s always been great, very cool. Everything I expected except one of those things. Hello Anna”.
The association also adds to the condolences Faces of sereni, which announces an initiative in memory of Anna Iuzzarelli: “We are making a collection to buy a tree and a commemorative plaque that we will deliver to the Bagnaia kennel on Saturday, November 28 – explains Roberta Filoscia, president of the non-profit organization – . Money can be donated on the day of Anna’s funeral or at the Carmine pharmacy. It is the least we can do for her, for a real, serious and kind woman that you could always count on. A tireless volunteer, who, not by chance, lived her last moments of consciousness among the dogs she loved so much ”.
The Mifidodifido association Everything adds to the pain of the family and of all the people who knew Annarella, who were able to enjoy her presence and friendship. Of all those who will remember his contagious smile and his words of closeness, optimism in every situation and circumstance.
Because Anna Iuzzarelli will remain forever in our hearts. Anna Iuzzarelli’s funeral will take place on Friday, November 20 at 10 am in the San Leonardo Murialdo church in Viterbo.
