Infections are dropping in Calabria today. am 506 cases registered in the bulletin that also includes 5 deaths. A figure that brings the total number of victims to 202 since the beginning of the epidemic.
To date, 327,394 subjects have been tested for a total of 334,533 swabs performed (further tests can be performed on the same subject). The people who tested positive for the coronavirus are 12,512, the negative 314,882. These are the daily data related to the Covid-19 epidemic reported by the Department of Health Protection.
Cases province by province
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:
– Cosenza: ACTIVE CASES 2,719 (118 in the AO Cosenza ward; 17 in the Rossano unit and 10 in the Cetraro hospital unit; 18 in intensive care, 2,556 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 796 (714 recovered, 82 deceased).
– Catanzaro: ACTIVE CASES 1,406 (75 in ward; 20 in intensive care; 1,311 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 559 (512 recovered, 47 deceased).
– Crotone: ACTIVE CASES 745 (43 in the ward; 702 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 256 (250 recovered, 6 deceased).
– Vibo valentia: ACTIVE CASES 576 (16 hospitalized, 560 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 158 (147 recovered, 11 deceased).
– Reggio calabria: ACTIVE CASES 3,265 (98 in the ward; 18 PO of Gioia Tauro; 9 in intensive care; 3,140 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 1,635 (1,582 recovered, 55 deceased).
– Another Region or Foreign State: ACTIVE CASES 267 (267 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 128 (127 recovered, 1 deceased).
Also included is the person who died in the Cosenza intensive care unit who resided outside the region.
In the columns of the respective pavilions, hospitalized patients from outside the region and migrants were included; of the 46 admissions to the Catanzaro hospital, 5 refer to non-residents.
Of the 118 admitted to the Cosenza hospital, three are non-residents; the patient discharged from Cosenza was included among those cured in the environment outside the region; the patient who died in Cosenza was included among those who died in the environment outside the region.
The new cases
The confirmed cases today are divided as follows: Cosenza 68, Catanzaro 77, Crotone 54, Vibo Valentia 47, Reggio Calabria 260.
Since the last survey, there are 187 people who have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory.
The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to Civil Protection are not included.
