More than 3,700 million of which 2.2 to finance current expenses and more than 1.5 for investments. These are the resources for schools provided for by the Budget Bill, finally approved by the Government, which is now being examined by Parliament.
The measures were illustrated today to the unions in a specific report.

In particular, with the funds allocated, a multi-year plan is contemplated for the hiring of 25 thousand support teachers in the legal body that will be accompanied by the allocation of specific funds for the training of teachers on the issues of inclusion of students and students with disabilities and for the purchase of teaching materials.
It is expected that 1,000 more teachers will strengthen the educational offer in kindergarten. An additional 60 million per year is also allocated for the 0 to 6 year range. More than 1.5 billion go to school buildings.
The provision then extends the powers of the commissioner to the mayors of the municipalities and metropolitan cities for one more year for a rapid implementation of the interventions in the institutes. The Fund for the enrichment and expansion of the educational offer of schools and for equalization measures that serve to reduce inequalities increases: +117.8 million for 2021, +106.9 million for 2023, +7.3 million for each of the years 2024 and 2025 and +3.4 million for the year 2026.
An additional € 40 million investment is planned for digitization, along with the allocation of additional specific resources to strengthen administrative and educational action in schools, also through the use of digital animators. The teacher training teams that are responsible for the implementation of the National Digital School Plan have been confirmed and strengthened.
One measure, the latter, which aims to accelerate digitization processes within schools, to promote staff training and the improvement of students’ skills in innovative teaching methodologies and integrated digital teaching.
1,000 technical assistants were also confirmed in first cycle schools, figures always present in the second cycle, introduced in the first period of the emergency and now stabilized to support teachers and staff in the use of laboratories and technologies.
