In Italy there are 1,178,529 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic: +33,979 compared to yesterday when they were +37,255 (+40,902 on November 13). The number of deaths amounts to 45,229: +546 compared to yesterday when they were +544 (+550 the day before). The swabs processed in the last 24 hours were 195,275: up from 227,695 yesterday (it was a record number of 254,908 on November 13). The relationship between positives and smears increases: today it is 17.4% from 16.36 yesterday (it was 16.05% the day before). This is what emerges from the data of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.
The pressure on hospital structures is constantly growing with the number of hospitalized patients now at 32,047 (+649 with an increase of 2.07%, yesterday the growth was +484) and that of patients in intensive care reached 3,306 (+116 with growth of 3.51%, yesterday the increase was +76). The number of positives is currently increasing, which is now 712,490 (+24,055, + 3.49%), of which 677,021 in home isolation (+23,290, + 3.56%). Those cured continue to grow, reaching 420,810 (+9,376, + 2.28%).

The regions
Molise is the region with the lowest number of new infections: 85. In contrast, the highest number of new infections was recorded in Lombardy with 8,060 cases (yesterday 8,129), followed by Campania with 3,771 (yesterday 3,351), Piedmont with 3,682 (yesterday 4,471)).

In Lombardy, the most affected region, the cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic are 320,780: +8,060 precisely compared to yesterday, when they were +8,129. There are 38,702 buffers a day, up from 35,550 yesterday. The percentage of positives with respect to the number of buffers was 20.8% (yesterday 22.8%). The total of deaths amounts to 19,367: +181 compared to yesterday, when they were +158.
