There are currently 2,120 positive people for the new coronavirus in Molise. The last 128 infections were determined from the result of the 853 swabs processed in the last 24 hours in the analysis laboratory of the Campobasso hospital. And the percentage of positives in swabs done is also increasing: today (November 15) it is 15%. Yesterday in Molise there were 86 positives out of 888 swabs, with a positivity rate of 9.7% (on Friday it was higher than 14%).

It is another dramatic Sunday from the point of view of deaths caused by the virus: the tragic count has risen to 71 after a very dark week, in which 19 people lost the battle against the virus. Today, four patients admitted to Cardarelli, in the Department of Infectious Diseases, have added to the balance of mourning, they lost the battle against the virus and died. Among them were a woman from Campobasso, a citizen of Cercemaggiore, and an old man from the Montaquila nursing home who had been transferred to the hospital.
A Petacciato The first victim of the coronavirus epidemic is registered today. It is about an 86-year-old woman who was hospitalized for a few days in the Infectious Diseases ward of Cardarelli. The woman had a previous pathology and the virus did not let her out.

Two other people needed the attention of the Cardarelli hospital doctors and today they were always hospitalized in the infectious diseases ward: they are citizens of Cercemaggiore and one of Castel San Vincenzo. While 4 people were discharged in the same ward, whose health conditions have fortunately improved: they are two patients from Isernia, one from Venafro and one from San Marco La Catola. Currently 64 people are hospitalized in Cardarelli, 54 with infectious diseases (30 from Campobasso province, 21 from Isernia province and 6 from other regions). NEW POSITIVES IN 44 MUNICIPALITIES
128 new positives registered today in Molise out of 853 swabs. Isernia is the town that registers the highest number of new infections, 21. It is followed by Campobasso, with 15 new positives, then Termoli with 10. Also noteworthy are the 6 new positives in Lucito and Carovilli, 5 in Larino and Venafro. In Portocannone, Ripalimosani and Civitanova del Sannio 4 new positivity. Then with 3 Macchia d’Isernia, Guglionesi, Spinete. In total, 44 municipalities register at least one case.
48 CURING, FOCOLAIO DI CASTELPETROSO DEFLATES
The good news today is that 48 cured have been certified and one of the outbreaks that had caused concern in recent weeks, that of Castelpetroso, is deflated. In fact, 41 of those healed today come from there. Another 4 are from Riccia, while one is from Isernia, Termoli and Ripalimosani.
NATIONAL DATA
According to the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, 33,979 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the national territory, compared to 195,275 swabs. The victims registered today were 546 with 116 new hospitalizations in intensive care and 649 more ordinary hospitalizations. The positivity rate is 17.4%.
As for the previous day, in Italy there were 37,255 new cases of Sars-Cov-2 with 227,695 swabs processed. The victims had been 544, with +484 hospitalizations and +76 people in intensive care. The positivity rate was 16.36%.
