There are 344 new infections in Calabria. This is what emerges from the bulletin issued by the Region. TO Today 316,589 subjects have been tested for a total of 319,813 swabs performed (further tests can be performed on the same subject). The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 10,093 (+344 compared to yesterday), the negative 306,496. These are the daily data related to the Covid-19 epidemic reported by the Department of Health Protection.

Cases province by province

Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:

  • Cosenza: ACTIVE CASES 2,146 (111 in ward; 17 in intensive care, 2,018 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 756 (687 recovered, 69 deceased)
  • Catanzaro: ACTIVE CASES 1,138 (73 in the ward; 13 in intensive care; 1,052 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 462 (417 recovered, 45 deceased)
  • Crotone: ACTIVE CASES 443 (32 in the ward; 411 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 209 (203 recovered, 6 deaths)
  • Vibo valentia: ACTIVE CASES 265 (15 hospitalized, 250 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 150 (141 recovered, 9 deceased)
  • Reggio calabria: ACTIVE CASES 2,780 (111 in ward; 11 in intensive care; 2,658 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 1,349 (1,305 recovered, 44 deceased)
  • Another Region or Foreign State: ACTIVE CASES 267 (267 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 128 (127 recovered, 1 deceased).

Also included is the person who died in the Cosenza intensive care unit who resided outside the region.

In the columns of the respective pavilions, hospitalized patients from outside the region and migrants were included; of the 43 admissions to the Catanzaro hospital, 5 refer to non-residents. Of the 111 hospitalized in the Cosenza hospital, three are non-residents; the patient discharged from Cosenza was included among those cured in the environment outside the region; the patient who died in Cosenza was included among those who died in the environment outside the region.

The new cases

The confirmed cases today are divided as follows: Cosenza 65, Catanzaro 36, Crotone 45, Vibo Valentia 30, Reggio Calabria 168.

Since the last survey, a total of 134 people have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory.

The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to Civil Protection are not included.
