That the PS5 has become rarer than gold is definitely not a mystery. Since the opening of pre-orders, Sony’s new next-gen console has been very difficult to buy. In fact, in this first launch period a lucky few will get their long-awaited PS5 at home, while many users will have to wait and hope. This is definitely a convenient situation for both Sony and its fans, to say the least. However, given the current global pandemic, such a circumstance was quite inevitable. However, the Japanese company seems to be doing everything possible to solve this “unexpected”.
We already know that during the next European launch (which will take place during the next week) most of the stores will not have consoles available for sale outside the reserved ones. Many retailers appear to be willing to reopen pre-orders as of November 19, however, without guaranteeing exact availability of PS5 systems. As the situation looks gray, Sony has decided announce some important news about future actions.
According to a statement issued by Jim Ryan himself, the Japanese company is working hard to ensure availability in stores during the holiday period (and the one after Christmas). Ryan explained that the company is working hard to make available new shares dedicated to PS5. In addition, the company wants to apologize to all the different users who in this period have not been able to find any availability related to the new Sony console.
obviously Jim Ryan’s words should be taken with a grain of salt since, given the current world situation, everything could change. We sincerely hope that every user can find the much desired PS5 in their trusted store. We remind you that the next generation Sony console will officially debut in Europe during next November 19. Let us know if you are among the lucky few with the pre-ordered PS5!
