Tuscany slides into the red zone. It is now official that Minister Speranza has signed the ordinance that begins on Sunday. According to the weekly survey (from November 2 to 8) carried out by the control room of the Ministry of Health and the Higher Institute of Health, the region has the Rt index (that is, the contagion rate) at 1.8, the highest in Italy (the national average is 1.43, the second region after Tuscany is Val d’Aosta with 1.74). One figure immediately places Tuscany among the regions with a high index. The data examined by the Scientific Technical Committee was confirmed and this is how Tuscany went from the orange zone to the red one.

What it means to be classified in the red zone:

– It is forbidden to move, even within the Municipality itself, at any time, except for reasons of work, necessity and health; Movement from one Region to another and from one Municipality to another is prohibited.

– Bars and restaurants closed 7 days a week Take-out allowed until 10 pm There are no restrictions on home delivery.

– Closing of shops, except supermarkets, food and basic necessities. Kiosks, tobacconists, pharmacies and parapharmacies, laundries, hairdressers and barbers remain open. Closed beauty centers.

– Distance education for second grade of secondary school, for classes of second and third grade. Therefore, only preschool, primary and secondary schools remain open.

– Universities closed, with specific exceptions.

– All sports competitions are suspended except those recognized as being of national interest by CONI and CIP. Suspension of activities in sports centers. It is allowed to carry out physical activity near home and sports activities only outdoors on an individual basis.
