What changes for regions that become red and orange zones

[ad_1]

The dpcm of November 3 divided Italy into three areas, based on the epidemiological situation dictated by the Coronavirus emergency. There are red areas, orange areas, and yellow areas. Today, to the territories identified in recent days, others are added: Campania and Tuscany will join the red zones, the orange regions will become nine.

Let’s see what the rules are for red zones and what are the rules for orange zones. Due to restrictive measures, many business activities remain closed in areas considered to be at higher risk.

In the red zones – or those considered high risk – the measures to contain the epidemic will be much stricter than in the rest of the country. Displacements, both indoors and outdoors, must, for example, be justified for work, health or emergency reasons and distance learning will also be compulsory for second and third grade students. Then it establishes the closure of activities considered non-essential.

Obviously, the contraction also affects the retail and catering sector. However, there are several businesses that will be able to keep the blinds open: a list, contained in annexes 23 and 24 of the new dpcm, which comes to the end of the close negotiations between the Government and the opposition, Regions and Municipalities.

New Dpcm, the shops and activities that remain open
The decree suspends “the activities of catering services (including bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, patisseries), with the exception of dining rooms and catering.” It is still allowed “catering only with home delivery in compliance with sanitary and hygienic regulations for both packaging and transport activities, as well as catering with take away food until 10.00 pm, with prohibition of consumption on the spot or in the immediate vicinity “.

In the annex to the Dpcm, all the stores that can remain open are indicated in detail. In addition to food, there are also newsagents, tobacconists, pharmacies, sports shops, bicycles and leisure products. There is also no ban on hairdressers, beauty centers and laundries.

The same applies to toy and children’s clothing stores, car and motorcycle dealerships, health food stores, stationery stores and bookstores, as well as computer and information technology stores.
