We say it very clearly: with the monitoring system completely out of control and the health facilities collapsing, we think it is crazy to continue teaching face to face.

We are not fodder and we do not get into life.
The teaching class has always displayed a spirit of sacrifice, passion and self-denial. But you can’t ask him, with hospitals at the end of the day and oxygen starvation in many parts of Italy, to keep pretending that nothing has happened.
Many teachers live with someone who is at risk of serious illness (elderly, immunosuppressed, diabetic, asthmatic, hypertensive, etc.) and is terrified of taking the virus home.
Many are then forced to choose whether to continue helping elderly parents, for whom they are often the only reference, or if they are placed in a nursing home, with the greatest anguish of the virus that spreads precisely in the RSSA, claiming victims how sadly it feels every day.
We no longer count the messages we receive from colleagues in the midst of anxious depressive crises, who fear that they will catch it and their loved ones.
Many tell us that they want to stop teaching, after years of working with passion and dedication.

We cannot accept a school that attends “whatever the cost”, as some would like, with suffering and death
