Many have moved in with relatives who live in Rome, ”he says. Episodes that are added to the accesses to the hospitals of lower Lazio, especially in Latina, of patients from Naples and Caserta. It must be said that Lazio was favored by the presence in the capital of a center of excellence for infectious diseases such as Spallanzani, which indicated the route especially in terms of monitoring and the use of rapid shock absorbers on a massive scale, coinciding with a twin election of the Veneto that today is the other great region of the yellow band. Yesterday the regional councilor for Health, Alessio D’Amato, he specified: it is not true that Lazio also counts the rapid tests in the total of swabs performed (only the positive ones with a very high value that do not require molecular confirmation are entered). Therefore, the percentage of positives of 11.5 percent (the lowest in Italy) out of the number of cases analyzed is encouraging. Everything is fine? No, not at all, but it is less bad than in other regions.

There is another problem: the arrival of other patients from neighboring regions. The Order and Security Committee will meet on Tuesday in the Prefecture of Rome. On the one hand, it is necessary to raise the level of controls, to prevent reckless behavior from compromising the results achieved in stopping the infection, always bearing in mind that each day, however, more than 2,600 new positive cases are registered. On the other hand, surveillance will be organized in the entry ways of other regions, but also in the stations.
