Tiani, who is also the general secretary of the Siap police union, called Puglia Governor Michele Emiliano to present his “irrevocable” resignation to the board of directors of the InnovaPuglia company. The resignation was accepted, and therefore Tiani will leave the leadership of the regional procurement agency.

Tiani had ended up in the storm after appearing at the Constitutional Affairs Committee hearing with an “air purifying” pendant capable of “inhibiting any virus.” He had intervened as national secretary of the Siap police union, in a hearing dedicated to the security of the agents. He had proposed equipping law enforcement with this “virus-killing pendant.”
