An unprecedented number of new cases and swabs. From today’s bulletin published by the Department of Health Promotion of the Puglia Region, today Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Puglia, 8,825 tests were registered for the Covid-19 coronavirus infection and 1,245 positive cases were registered: 579 in the province of Bari, 79 in the province of Brindisi, 62 in the province BAT, 318 in the province of Foggia, 59 in the province of Lecce, 131 in the province of Taranto, 17 cases of residents outside the region (here the full newsletter). Hospitalizations are galloping: 73 more than yesterday, and now there are 1,160 in total in hospitals in the Region. The dire forecast for Puglia foresees 2,600 hospitalizations by the end of the month, so the network of places dedicated to Covid patients has increased to 3,062.

614,181 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency. 7921 patients were recovered. Currently, 18,886 are positive cases.

The total number of positive Covid cases in Apulia is 27,676, divided as follows: 10,961 in the province of Bari; 3,001 in the province of Bat; 1984 in the province of Brindisi; 6,706 in the province of Foggia; 2,012 in the province of Lecce; 2,810 in the province of Taranto; 202 attributed to residents outside the region.
