Turin, November 9, 2020 – Tragedy a Carignano (Turin), where a man shot the wife already both Twins two years. The woman and one of the two children stayed delicate. The killer is Alberto Accastello, a forty-something who by trade worked in a company specialized in drying cereals. Before acting, he would have revealed his intentions over the phone, calling brother who lives in Racconigi (Cuneo). His wife, found dead when the carabinieri arrived, is Barbara Gargano, 38 years: worked as a cashier in Carrefour de Moncalieri. The investigation file relating to the Carignano murders was assigned to prosecutor Livia Locci.

the double homicide it took place at dawn, around 5:30 in the morning, in a Borgata Ceretto villa: the father, perhaps in the middle of a kidnapping, fired shots at the family. The neighbors, upon hearing the shots, warned the carabinieri that they had already been alerted by Accastello’s brother. Upon arriving at the scene, the military broke down the door and found themselves in front of a tragic scene, with the bodies lying on the ground in a bloodbath. The woman was already dead, while the boy, still alive, died shortly after in hospital. Instead, the little sister is hospitalized in very serious conditions, in intensive care, at Queen Margaret of Turin. The murderer died shortly after the arrival of 118. The reasons for the inexplicable gesture are not yet known. Among the researchers the hypothesis that the couple was in crisis is making its way. It seems that for some time the two did not get along and that fights were frequent. However, the economic motive is excluded. Accastello legally had the weapon used to kill his wife and son. He did not leave a note.
Carignano is just the latest in a long series of crimes that have marked the Piedmont in this 2020 ‘black’.
