Basilicata is heading towards the orange zone. The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, will sign an ordinance in the afternoon that, based on the data processed by the control room, foresees the passage in the orange zone of 5 Regions: Abruzzo, Basilicata. Liguria, Tuscany and Umbria.
The effects of the provision that the minister is preparing to sign will take effect on Wednesday, November 11.
In Basilicata there are 2,641 positive people for covid, 378 cases were found in the weekend that just ended. In the last hours, another 54 infections confirmed.
This is what changes with the new layout:
Any movement in and out of the Region is prohibited, except for the “proven reasons” mentioned above. Permission to travel from the Municipality or Region for face-to-face teaching to teachers, students and those accompanying the latter. Allowed to return to your home, home and residence. Any movement with public or private means of transport in a municipality other than that of residence, domicile or domicile is prohibited, except for proven work, study, health needs, situations of need or to carry out activities and use of services not available in your municipality.
Substantial changes also in catering: suspended 7 days a week all services of restaurants, bars, pubs, ice cream parlors, patisseries, except dining rooms and continuous catering on a contractual basis. Catering is allowed with home delivery and take-out, the latter until 10:00 p.m. Food and beverage points of sale remain open in the service and refueling areas of highways, hospitals and airports.
The comment of the President of the Region, Vito Bardi:
“The minister’s decision comes after the increase in positive cases registered in recent days. I appeal to the Lucans’ sense of responsibility because in the absence of a vaccine the pandemic is fought with extremely responsible attitudes. Only by following the rules that we all know now can we defeat the virus and slow its spread effectively. It is not ruled out that after the growth of infections in the next few hours it will issue an ordinance with more restrictive measures “.
