The daily count of new cases of Covid19 in the province of Latina indicates that 162 (69 less than yesterday) have been infected in the last 24 hours. Unfortunately, the Latina Local Health Authority also reported 3 other deaths: these are people who reside in the municipalities of Latina, Sezze and Terracina. The current positives are 3984 of which 3784 are treated at home. The dead are activated at 76 while the healed are 1189 (4 more than yesterday).
If we stopped to analyze the cold figures, we would say that there is a slowdown in infections, with 69 fewer in 24 hours. Unfortunately, we cannot say this with certainty since the ASL of Latina does not provide the data regarding the swabs performed and the positivity rate thereof, the only tool available to understand how the epidemic is progressing in the province. The only statistical data provided by ASL is that on the incidence of the virus with respect to the population, that is, the so-called prevalence (it measures the number of people who tested positive for every 10,000 inhabitants) that has risen 10 points in 24 hours: Today is 91, 18 while Sunday was 80.
These are the data of the new infections divided by municipalities: Aprilia (21), Castelforte (1), Cisterna di Latina (10), Cori (2), Fondi (20), Formia (5), Gaeta (5), Itri (1), Latina (39), Lenola (1), Minturno (5), Norma (2), Pontinia (1), Priverno (7), Prossedi (1), Roccagorga (3), Roccasecca dei Volsci (1) , Sabaudia (9), San Felice Circeo (5), Santi Cosma e Damiano (1), Sermoneta (3), Sezze (6), Sonnino (1) and Terracina (12). The deaths of 3 patients were recorded, of which 1 resident in the Municipality of Latina, 1 resident in the Municipality of Sezze and 1 resident in the Municipality of Terracina.
