The accusations are serious: sexual violence, drug dealing and kidnapping in person. However, the risk that the defendant could escape and lose the trail (it appears that a private jet was already ready to take him across the Atlantic Ocean to South America) led investigators to arrest him. So since last night, Saturday, November 7, Alberto Genovese is in custody and it will likely be heard by researchers in the next few hours.

The story was reconstructed by AGI, citing police and investigative funds. The entrepreneur, famous for having conceived and created the comparative portal Facile.it (sold in 2014 for 100 million euros), allegedly abused the girl about a month ago inside his home in Milan during an alcohol and drug-based party. According to what is reconstructed by the journalists of Agenzia Italia, the events would have occurred between the night of October 10 and the morning of October 11, when the girl participated (with some friends) in the party in an attic a stone’s throw from the Duomo .

The rebuilding paints a pretty grim picture for the 43-year-old businessman. The girl, who had recently come of age, would be taken to the bedroom at the end of the party and, once inside, they would drug her and force her to have sex multiple times. The entrance to the room was also attended by the businessman’s bodyguards, who allegedly prevented the girl’s friends from entering the bedroom and checking her health.

The young woman could fully recover only the next day (Sunday then) and left the apartment still in pain and half dressed. When he went out to the street, he met a police patrol to whom he reported the incident. Then, the Milan Prosecutor’s Office began to investigate the incident, collecting the testimonies of all the people involved.

Genovese, who probably felt the pressure from the police and investigators growing stronger, therefore he was planning to escape. Not more than a few days ago it appears that he went to the Passport office to pick up a new document and, according to some interceptions, it seems that he was ready to flee to South America in a private jet. To prevent the plan from materializing, the businessman was arrested on charges of sexual assault, injury, drug trafficking and kidnapping.
