There are 660 (28 fewer than yesterday’s 688) new cases of coronavirus registered today (Sunday, November 8) in Umbria, where 14,939 people have been infected by Covid-19 since the beginning of the health emergency (4,085 – therefore 749 plus minus the 4,834 of the previous day (swabs made in the last hours, with a total that amounts to 329,812). However, today’s bulletin -with data from the Region and Civil Protection updated at 2:22 p.m.- shows a lower increase of the current positives, which are now 9,805 (+430).
Coronavirus, unions: “Screen Hospital on the brink of collapse”
This is because the number of recovered is growing to 4,946 (+220), while the total of deaths counted since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 188 (+10). There is also an increase in the number of people in contumacial isolation, which now stands at 9,390 (+418), while in the ‘Covid Hospitals’ of Umbria the total number of hospitalized patients amounts to 415 (+12) and 62 (+ 4) the total of those in intensive care.
