More than one hundred daily infections in the province of Lecce and with Brindisi and Taranto, almost three hundred cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, which shows the advance of the virus in the territory: this is clear from the usual regional bulletin, prepared from information of the Department. Health promotion.
Across Puglia there are another 946 positives, results after the 7728 swabs sampled in the last 24 hours, for a percentage of infections of about 12% compared to those tested for Covid-19 coronavirus infection.
The 946 cases are divided as follows: 259 in the province of Bari, 109 in the province of Brindisi, 97 in the province of Bat, 291 in the province of Foggia, 106 in the province of Lecce, 83 in the province of Taranto, 3 residents outside the region. Two cases of province of unknown residence were reclassified and attributed.
Unfortunately, 13 deaths were also recorded: 2 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 7 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Taranto.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 594,530 swabs have been performed, while the recovered patients have risen to 7,450, or 127 more than yesterday: those, currently positive, instead amount to 15,629 units.
The total number of Covid cases in Puglia is 23,881, divided as follows: 9,669 in the province of Bari; 2,579 in the province of Bat; 1,687 in the province of Brindisi; 5,718 in the province of Foggia; 1,697 in the province of Lecce; 2,365 in the province of Taranto; 166 attributed to residents outside the region.
Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
