Campania becomes from today “yellow zone“, that is the lowest range of the three established by the Government with the new DPCM. But unlike the other regions in the same range, Campania will remain a region” halfway “between the yellow and orange bands: this is due to the Campania region has enacted other ad hoc regulations, which will limit what, on the other hand, for the Government, would be allowed in the yellow areas: from teaching in presence to movements between provinces, Campania in short, seems more like a yellow that tends to orange, at least at the legislative level.
In Campania, stop to teach in presence.
The first substantial difference refers to classroom teaching. According to the DPCM, for the regions of the yellow zone it is allowed for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, suspended for other institutes (secondary schools and universities), subject to the usual exceptions. In Campania instead Face-to-face teaching is completely suspended.– From Kindergartens to Universities can only be followed remotely, with the sole exception of students with disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. A first big difference also compared to the red zone regions, which see, for example, distance education only for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.
Not to move between provinces
The regions of the yellow stripe do not foresee restrictions on the internal movement of citizens: it is only “recommended” to move in case of real need, but in no case is it prohibited for citizens to move from one municipality to another. On the other hand, in Campania, although in the yellow zone, Movements are prohibited between municipalities in different provinces., except for work, health, etc. In any case, the citizen who, for example, from any municipality in the province of Naples wants to reach a municipality in Salerno or vice versa, must present a self-certification to present it to the police during the controls. And here it corresponds to the rules provided for the regions in “orange band”.
The points in common with the other yellow areas.
Instead, they will be applied as in the other regions indicated as “yellow areas” curfew from 10 pm to 5 am (in Campania it was from 23 to 5: so from today it is “anticipated” by one hour), the bars, restaurants and refreshments close at 6 pm (which in Campania had already been applied for several days), while home delivery and take away food (with the prohibition of consumption in the place or in the immediate vicinity) is “anticipated” at 22 o’clock to coincide with the time the new curfew (previously it was scheduled for 10:30 p.m., with a curfew at 11 p.m.). Shopping centers closed on weekends and days before holidays, but grocery stores, pharmacies, parapharmacies and kiosks will remain open inside. The capacity in public transport is 50%, as long as they remain closed museums, exhibitions, archaeological parks (so far open in Campania), and I corner for games and bingo in bars and tobacconists. Hairdressers and barbers will work without problems (as well as in the orange or red areas), although only by appointment and following specific protocols.
