Calabria was declared a red zone, after the regional government tried to prevent Calabria from regressing which, we remind you once again, unlike Lombardy, Piedmont and the province of Bolzano, is not due to the high Rt index but due to the deficiencies of the regional health system, the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, announced it last night and starting tomorrow the restrictions planned for 15 days will begin, after which a new assessment will be made on the state of the Covid 19 pandemic onwards. how health facilities manage to contain the emergency.

The decree was signed by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza. With the establishment of the red zone, travel restrictions are imposed, prohibited in the entry and exit and also within the same territories except for justified reasons due to proven work needs or situations of need or for health reasons. In any case, travel is allowed to accompany children to school and return to their home, home or residence.

Transit is allowed as long as it aims to reach other territories not subject to restrictions. Kindergarten and elementary school children will be able to go to school. For middle school, only the first few classes will be able to attend in-person lessons, while all others will do distance learning. As of Monday, retail stores closed except for food and basic necessities.

The bars and restaurants are closed but delivery and take away service is allowed, the latter until 10pm. Newsstands, tobacconists, pharmacies, parapharmacies and hairdressers remain open. To leave home, you must complete the self-certification as you did six months ago.
