TURIN. The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont continue to increase: the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region has announced that there are 81,409, + 3577 compared to yesterday, of which 1567 (44%) are asymptomatic.
The cases are divided as follows: 1701 detection, 880 case contacts, 996 with ongoing investigation; by area: 297 cases arising in the Rsa / Structures of Social Welfare, 371 in the school environment, 2,909 in the general population.

Hospitalizations
The number of people admitted to intensive care amounted to 233 (+20 compared to yesterday). Non-intensive care patients are 3525: +146 compared to yesterday. There are 37,819 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,079,137 (+16,022 compared to yesterday), of which 594,140 were negative.
The healed
Today, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that a total of 35,351 patients were recovered, divided as follows by provinces:

Counting the dead
There are 37 deaths of Covid-19 test positive individuals reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit, of which 4 occurred today (note that the updated cumulative data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and were only later determined as Covid deaths). The total now stands at 4,481 deaths who tested positive for the virus.
