Covid, the government places Campania in the “yellow” zone, the one with the lowest risk. It will be forbidden to circulate from 10 pm to 5 am without proven reasons of work, need or health. But there is also the recommendation not to move except for reasons of health, work, study, situations of need. On public holidays and the eve of public holidays, stores in shopping centers are closed, with the exception of pharmacies, parapharmacies, food outlets, tobacconists and kiosks inside. Museums and exhibitions closed.
Bars and restaurants maintain current opening hours and stay open until 6:00 pm, with take-out allowed until 10:00 pm There are no restrictions on home delivery. The means of public transport, buses, subways, regional trains, cannot accommodate more than 50% of their maximum capacity. The swimming pools, gyms, theaters and cinemas remain closed. The sports centers remain open.
Colleges closed, except for some freshman activities and labs.
The real problem concerns the school. The decree provides for distance education only for secondary schools, except for students with disabilities and in the case of the use of laboratories; classroom teaching instead for preschool, primary and secondary schools. However, at the moment in Campania the regional ordinance that provides for distance education for all ages is in force and it is easy to predict that the political conflict will reignite in this area.
So in the last hours the image that had seen Campania initially inserted in the “orange” band and even at risk of “red” classification has changed. Instead, the line of considering the situation not yet critical has prevailed, despite the requests of Governor Vincenzo De Luca, who had called for more rigorous measures.
