The situation in Campania

The situation in Campania is critical: We are in 44% of intensive care places occupied by Covid patients and the critical ceiling was 30. Record percentage, 21.5 percent, the proportion of positive tampons in Campania according to data from today’s Crisis Unit . We have 2971 positives, one for every 5 swabs performed. Unfortunately, deaths are increasing: there are 48 deaths from coronavirus in Campania between November 1 and 2: in 48 hours, an exact average of one death every hour.

A tragic average: from June to September there were a total of 50 deaths, while in May 54. A figure that further confirms the dark moment of the pandemic in Campania. Tomorrow begins the opening of Covid19 beds in private clinics in Naples; hospitals such as Moscati di Avellino, Cardarelli di Napoli and Neapolitan infectious diseases, Cotugno, They have ambulance lines and private cars at the doors with Covid patients. «The health situation is at the end. We have lines of cars and ambulances near the hospitals. It is a dramatic situation to which is added the social tension that is equally serious and worrying “, says the mayor of Naples, Luigi of Magistris.
