(ANSA) – MILAN, NOV 02 – “Of one thing we are sure: the situation in both hospital health structures and local medicine has become unsustainable. It is necessary to intervene with an immediate and effective closure.”

The president of the city’s Medical College (Omceo), Roberto Carlo Rossi, asks for it for Milan.

There are no – writes Rossi – small remedies for big problems, just as you cannot play to discharge other roles and responsibilities: the situation is very serious and without drastic interventions it can only get worse. Especially if, in addition, we do not seriously equip ourselves to protect those doctors who, even now, are employed on the front line, but without the necessary protective equipment and materials to carry out their work safely ”.

Finally, Rossi underlines “the firm and unanimous decision of the entire new Council of the Order of Milan in requesting immediate restrictive measures.” (HANDLE).
