New infections are declining: 218 out of 2,557 swabs

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 218 new infections have been detected (2,557 swabs were made) and 5 deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic totaled 11,462, of which: 3,823 in Trieste (50 more), 4,278 in Udine (140 more), 2,054 in Pordenone (14 more) and 1,185 in Gorizia (12 more), plus 122 people from outside the region (two more).

The current cases of infection are 5,618. There are 37 patients in intensive care (one less than yesterday) and 179 hospitalized in other departments (one more). The deaths totaled 403, with the following territorial subdivision: 210 in Trieste (two more), 93 in Udine (one more), 89 in Pordenone (two more) and 11 in Gorizia. The totally cured are 5,441, the clinically cured 65 and the isolated 5,337.
