Let’s not lower our guard: a caravan for tampons and seros

Let’s not lower our guard. Is the recommendation antiCovid most used in recent months and the title of the Federfarma Brescia campaign created in collaboration with Affidea and authorized by the Region, which consists of a equipped caravan who is touring the Bresciano area with specialized nursing staff to perform tests on people who have previously booked in pharmacies.

Twenty-six stops in squares throughout the province, some of which have already been completed, starting from La Bassa to reach the lakes and then to the city and the valleys to conclude the tour in Valcamonica in November passing first through Montichiari, Sarezzo, Palazzolo, Chiari, Ospitaletto and so on.

On board it will be possible to carry out the IgM and IgG serological tests with venous sampling, while the swab will be carried out outside: the data and results are entered each time in the flows of the Region. Citizens must book at the pharmacy, who will schedule the appointment, and will present themselves on the date and time indicated with the health card: the mobile unit will be in the main square, clearly visible and with the campaign logos as seen in the side photo. The service is offered at an agreed and competitive rate (30 euros for serology, 80 euros for serology and swab) and guarantees all the necessary measures and maximum confidentiality: the result will be available in the next 72 hours, downloadable from the Affidea website with password.

“This is a health surveillance campaign in the context of the Covid 19 epidemic throughout the province – explains Clara Mottinelli, president of Federfarma Brescia – for some time we have been looking for a solution to comply with the hundreds of requests that are made in the pharmacy every day. This project allows us to reach the most peripheral areas, where there are no easily accessible alternative proposals. The pharmacy is thus confirmed as a fundamental garrison for the health of citizens.
