CAMPAGNATICO – A 41-year-old young man of Macedonian origin residing in Roccastrada was denounced by the Carabinieri of the local police station for non-compliance with the provisions of the authority.
The man, positive for Covid-19 for about two weeks, a few days ago had deliberately violated his isolation by leaving his apartment and finding hospitality with an acquaintance in Campagnatico. It was the latter who informed the Carabinieri that he had found out when the 41-year-old had already been home for a few days.
The Carabinieri of Campagnatico intervened immediately, identifying the man and activating the health authority for the landlord as well, so both were prescribed to remain in isolation.
However, the next morning the owner of the house, scared by the situation, left the next morning to the Grosseto Hospital together with the guest: for this reason the Carabinieri de Campagnatico and the Radiomóvil de Grosseto, noting his absence in Campagnatico , were immediately activated by tracking his car before reaching the hospital.
Later, the two were rescued by doctors and sent for investigations with the security measures provided. For the 41-year-old man, not new to these violations, the complaint was made in a state of freedom.
