“I am not going to take another hit. I keep my business open ”. Alessandra Filippi, a young owner of a gym in Maniago, in the province of Pordenone, speaks on the pages of Messaggero Veneto. The owner speaks after the new dpcm that, among the various measures, establishes the closure of gyms and swimming pools and explains her choice:
“Motor exercise is essential for health and gyms and swimming pools are essential: I keep it open, I don’t care what is covered in the last Dpcm. In four months I lost 16,000 euros: for three I did not work, due to the first closing, and one month I worked for free, having decided to meet my clients and make them recover their season tickets ”.
“Now another blow: I’m not going to suffer unfair elections that penalize everyone,” adds the owner of the gym. Still:
“If I close one more month, I never reopen. Since the pandemic broke out, we have adapted to the government’s requests, respecting the rules to the letter and adopting the necessary precautions ”.
These are the words of the woman who concludes by highlighting: “Activities that do not respect the rules should be sanctioned or closed, not all without distinction.”
